Factions

Since the fall of the Camailla and Sabbat, various factions have called to the needs and desires of the remaining Kindred. Each have their own history, and many of them share roots with previous subsects of the two previous organizations. For more details, consult the Wiki

Church of the Guardian

In recent nights, there have been a growing number of kindred, who, dissatisfied with the growing sense of spiritual bankruptcy that seems to be the lot of most vampires, have begun to follow the words of an entity known only as the Prophet. Endowed with mystical rituals that grant strength over the beast and give Kindred a strength of purpose, the followers of the Prophet work towards a central goal: protecting the enlightened amongst humanity.

Federalists

Kindred are ancient, beyond the scope that humans can imagine. However, time catches up with all creatures, even the Kindred, and amongst the young, and those who wish to assert themselves in a modern context, the Federalists provide a more modern look at vampire government. The Federalists are a Faction that believes in fundamental, unalienable rights, a concept totally foreign to the truly ancient, but growing, and growing quickly, in modern nights.

Iron Crown

The modern vampire, according to some elders, is a creature cast adrift, with no concept of what is necessary to survive. Something of a counter-reaction to the rampant "liberalism" of the Federalists, the Iron Crown is an ultra-conservative faction cast in the feudalist mold seeking to bring back the times in Kindred society when everything was good -- the Dark Ages.

Unbroken Circle

There are things beyond the mortal world that everyday humans cannot perceive. Vampires, by their very nature, know this. Those who join the circle delve into greater mysteries still, joining the Spirit Courts and binding themselves to various accords with the land in exchange for mystical powers beyond the reach of most vampires. As much a mystical research society as a religion or blood cult, the Circle recognizes that the Kindred as well are spirits.
