Live Action Role Play (LARP) is similar to table-top gaming, but...it's not.
Echoes of Empires is a LARP (Live-Action Role Play) Chronicle for White Wolf's Vampire: The Masquerade. The setting is an alternate version of the World of Darkness in which the Camarilla and Sabbat have both fallen and new factions have risen in their stead, and the resulting chaos has set the once great city-state empires of the Vampires against each other.
Please see the Game Wiki for more information including staff contact, character creation rules, weaponry rules, general errata, and more. Costuming is encouraged and rewarded. No experience in needed, and all skill levels are welcome!
Philadelphia
The Philadelphia Chronicle takes ancient themes of sovereignty and oppression and transforms them into a political drama played out on the stage of the Compact. The struggle of local government against a superordinate authority replaces the ancient Kindred ties of Methuselahs to Elders to Ancillae.
New players are welcome! The game is held at 018 Ross Commons, 2nd Floor & Room 302. This is located at 34th Street and Powelton Avenue in Philadelphia. The game occurs every other Saturday, with sign-in at 7:00 PM and start of play at 8:00 PM, ending at Midnight.
Wilmington
The Chronicle of Wilmington takes place in a border region between Compacts, and deals with the strife and destruction caused by these Compacts fighting over territory. Wilmington is the very edge of the Philadelphia Compact, and its distance from and importance to the Compact both cause problems for the domain.
New players are welcome! The game is held at 116 & 118 Purnell Hall at the University of Delaware in Newark, DE. The game occurs every other Saturday, with sign-in at 7:00 PM and start of play at 8:00 PM, ending at Midnight.
Chester
Chester differs greatly from the rest of the Philadelphia Compact. Chester's echoes are those of the Sabbat, not the Camarilla. Independent Chester is run by former Sabbatists struggling to survive in a new world, and as such contains darker, more violent scenes of the modern nights.
New players are welcome! The game is held at 50 Ethan Allen Court in Newark, DE. The game occurs on the first Monday of every month from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
