An Invitation
Let's talk about your life. Or rather, let's not. Because your life, as it stands right now, is boring the Hell out of both of us.
You have your job, you have your home, and maybe some school in there. You work, you learn, and maybe you eke a little time for little games. You look at the wide world and choose to tread it in narrow, mundane paths, oblivious to how different things could be, and how easily it could happen.
I can already hear you saying, "And a Live Action Role Play is going to solve this problem?" And I would reply, "Yes."
And now you're saying, "This is dress-up for losers," and here, I would have to point out that you play dress-up all the time. You pretend to be one person for your boss, another for your family, still another to your friends. You pretend to be so many people, why not be someone interesting for a change?
You wear many masks. Why not join our Masquerade? Here lies a world, just a few hours darker than the one you're so used to, brimming with power, intrigue, hatred, and love. A place where wars are fought, friendships are forged, and kings are made and unmade.
This Invitation is for you. For you have untapped imagination in you, untapped potential. So come. The stage is close by, the people are friendly, and the night awaits. After all, what is life without a little live action?
